President
Tireless, inventive, committed to excellence; if there is one person you’d want overseeing your event, it’s Jeff Kalpak. A native New Yorker, this one-time ranked tennis player still exhibits the same dedication and competitive spirit in everything he does. His warmth, charm and wicked sense of humor, keep those around him entertained and ready for action.
Jeff’s contributions to the event industry are innumerable. He is a sought after speaker in the industry and serves as an Adjunct Guest Lecturer at New York University. He has lectured on behalf of MPI, Event Solutions Magazine, Special Events Magazine, SITE, RSA and was the past chair of the NYC Chapter of SITE. He was named Best Producer by American Entertainment Magazine in both 2007 and 2006, was selected the Entertainment Producer of the Year in 2005 by Event Solutions Magazine and was also the recipient of the 2004 and 2005 TEAM Net Spirit Award.
In addition to his corporate work, Jeff produces and directs theatrical productions such as the televised Drama Desk Awards show, honoring the best of Broadway and off-Broadway, where he has directed celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Antonio Banderas, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Patti LuPone to name a few. He has produced and directed theatrical and corporate events around the world, including the Asian premiere of the Broadway musical Chicago for the Macao International Music Festival in 2005 and Guys & Dolls in 2006.

Her combination of boundless energy and theatrical experience make Lynnette Barkley an unstoppable creative force in the world of event production. She landed in New York City to work alongside Tommy Tune in the development of the Broadway musical “My One and Only,” and has stayed in the Big Apple ever since.
Extremely prolific as a director, choreographer and writer, Lynnette has been honored with an unprecedented 5 Carbonell awards. She’s worked in film, television and theatre with a list of celebrities ranging from Jennifer Garner to Leontyne Price. Her corporate work has taken her across the globe creating experiences for major US and international companies.
Her ability to continuously develop fresh ideas is unparalleled. On site, her passion and drive for excellence is evidenced in the work -- show after show after show.
VP, Business Development
For the past seven years at BKA, André has focused on helping clients develop and implement their brand strategy in the realm of experiential events. Never one to settle, he digs deeply until their strategy is in place, their message is conveyed and their goals are achieved.
Having worked for American Express and with Ticketmaster/ CitySearch, where he managed key client relationships with leading brands such as AT&T, Bechtel, Procter & Gamble, and Verizon he brings a business-centric marketing approach to the design and production of events.
He lectures at various industry speaking engagements often on the topics of branding and trends.
The guy you’d want on your trivial pursuit team, he’s a graduate of the University of Texas (Hook ‘Em Horns!) and brings a global perspective to BKA having lived in London, Paris, Tehran, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Austin.
VP, Design + Multimedia
Michael has the superb ability to visually represent the concepts floating around in our heads and consistently take them to a higher level. He designs lighting, scenic elements, room layouts and oversees BKA’s in-house design and multi-media production team.
He’s as adept at conceiving the big picture experience for attendees as he is at focusing on the fine technical details. To the delight of clients he explains complex details in simple, clear terms as he comes up with solutions to their event challenges.
His designs include innovative award-winning scenic and lighting designs across five different countries for dozens of corporate clients from as far away as Beijing to as close to home as 42nd Street.
Michael strives to inspire audiences through design. He taps into his interests in alternative music and contemporary architecture bringing an eclectic and exciting design perspective to his clients and his team.
He has a BA from Auburn University, an MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.
