Rehearsals are underway as BKA is gearing up for our 4th production at the Macao International Music Festival. This is the one production where we get to indulge in BKA’s theatrical roots and produce a full-scale Broadway musical. From the casting to choreography, set design to costume design and all the directing in between!

BKA brings Fame the musical to Macau China

Later this month, we will move the cast, creative team and musicians to Macao where we join our local crew and members of the Macao Symphony Orchestra (a 30-piece orchestra) to present a lavish production of this worldwide theatrical sensation.

The show will be presented in English with subtitles in Mandarin, Cantonese and Portuguese (though just an hour ferry ride from Hong Kong, Macao was originally a Portuguese colony and still has a small Portuguese population).

We auditioned hundred of actors, singers and dancers for this production and we couldn't be more excited about the cast (a mix of Broadway veterans and new talent) and the creative team we have assembled for the show.
